Many of our most successful design projects start out with challenging site conditions. The original backyard space was characterized by ledge outcroppings and steep elevation changes that required us to engineer a series of stepped retaining walls to create level spaces for the custom freeform pool, composite deck, fire pit, stone paver lounging terraces and sport court. We utilized the existing granite outcropping to incorporate a natural looking waterfall into the pool and create a naturalized rock garden. Careful consideration was made to minimize the amount of steps from the home's rear entrance to the outdoor spaces and allow for amazing views from the home's windows. Plantings soften the hardscapes and add color to the outdoor composition.
